I met Jonathan Kelly in London when I was working there as he used to play in the hotel where we were all living. It was a nice surprise when he turned up in Halifax .

What a great site! Well done for assembling it. Happy memories, and the gig dates help me to know where I was - and just how under-age I was - at various points in time. My great memories were of SAHB, (and chatting to Alex), Vinegar Joe, Beckett (rather good I always thought), Roxy(obviously), Thin Lizzy, chatting to the amazingly friendly John Peel, Osibisa's amazing entry, and beautiful long haired girls that I never had the nerve to dance with. And on the decks: Long Train Running, Superstition, Do It Again, amongst many others, and of course, Every Time We Say Goodbye. Ah, happy days...
